A Beautiful Fall Morning
I've been photographing this family since mom was pregnant with sweet Grayson, and was blessed to capture Grayson's birth story. I just love watching these sweet babies grow. Last year, for their family session it was SOOO chilly and Grayson was just a baby. I remember we had to cut the session short because it was just too cold for the kids. So it was so nice this year that we had beautiful abnormally warm weather for the session. The kids did SOOO good. I don't remember ever getting a sibling picture of kids this age so easily. These two certainly love each other.
Mom mentioned that she thought the kids were happier at our morning session than they would have been in the evening. I had not thought about this specifically before. I usually schedule my sessions in the evening because that is when the light is most beautiful. But by the time Margaret had contacted me to schedule their photos, I did not have any evening sessions available. November is so hard so because it gets dark SOOOO early...it makes it pretty impossible to schedule weekday sessions. But since neither child was in school yet, they were able to take the morning off so we could schedule a weekday session. I'm so glad it worked out and the kids were so much fun.
The only issue with daytime sessions is that harsh sunlight is not good for photos, so we have to be sure our location has plenty of shade. That's why I suggested Thompson Station Park. And I actually love the way the sun comes through the trees there in the mornings.
These two ended up being so stinking cute that I wanted to bring them home with me. I mean, just look at all these giggles! I can't even wait to edit the rest of them.
