New Beginnings | Spring Hill TN Family & Birth Photographer

January 01, 2015  •  3 Comments

I believe there are times when life tries to tell us that it's time for a new beginning and it's up to us to listen.  Lots of things have happened in the past few months that have led me to believe that a corporate job is not the place for me right now in my life.  At the same time, I have some wonderfully supportive friends who have been encouraging me to pursue my passion for photography. So I'm excited (and a little nervous) to announce that the start of 2015 brings a brand new beginning for me personally.

More specifically, I've put in my resignation at GM and will only be working there through the end of January.  After January, I will be focusing my passion into being a birth and lifestyle photographer, making the leap from hobbyist to professional. The bad news is that in order to support this as a full time gig, it will mean price increases for those friends who I've been shooting on the side. The good news is that I will no longer have to turn away those who are interested in wanting me capture memories for them, and I will have the time to focus on learning more and more every day.  Soon I will be booking sessions for both birth photography and family sessions to begin in February.  If you like my work, I would be honored if you would share my page with family and friends in the Spring Hill Area. I will only be booking a few birth photography sessions each month, so if you know someone who is pregnant and interested, they should book as soon as they can.

believe that when I view life through my lens, that it brings to me a certain mindfulness that is easy to lose in the everyday hurry of life. Looking for a picture to capture is a constant reminder of the beauty that is around us always. So, here is ...the sunrise of a New Year.

Happy New Year to you and your family. I hope your 2015 is full of beautiful moments!
