I've been a professional photographer for not quite a year now, but I have for years shot portrait sessions for close friends, the Boise Family included.  So I have been shooting 6 year old Maddie and 4 year old Reagan since they were 1 1/2 and 3, and oh what a difference a few years makes!  Especially with little Reagan.  When I first starting photographing her, she barely spoke a word and was SO, SO shy.  It was work just to get her to look at me at all.  I remember at our first shoot being so excited when I finally figured out that if we put her in the swing, she would give us a little smile.  Oh how times have changed...I think you can see from these pictures.  Reagan is all smiles and giggles and energy.  And big sister Maddie is such a nut, hamming it up for me any chance she gets.  I just love watching them grow through my photographs, and am so excited to be doing this full time and looking forward to see so many beautiful children grow and change through the years.

On the day of our session, Thompson Station Park was killing it with the beautiful light dancing through the trees.  Capturing Maddie and Reagan running through the woods looks almost magical thanks to the beautiful light mixed with the Autumn colors. We could not have asked for a more gorgeous weekend. And I want to point out that the customers who booked sessions for mid to late October did so months and months ago...and these pictures show exactly why.  Don't wait to long too book your family session for next Fall.
