Chelsea & Molly - I hope you dance | Spring Hill, TN Photographer

This is probably one of my favorite sessions ever. I’ve gotten to know Chelsea this year as we work on the school PTO together and she is seriously one of the sweetest people I know. She works so hard for the school without complaint and is an amazing mother. She’s had a rough year personally, but has faced it all bravely and with dignity, always with her daughter’s best interest in mind. I wanted so much to be able to get great photos for her of her and her daughter, Molly.

I chose this location for two reasons. First, Molly loves softball and wanted to capture that love in the photos, and I knew there was a ball field here. But mostly, when I was planning the session, I could envision Chelsea and Molly standing on that hill at sunset….a mother and daughter with the whole world ahead of them.

When I was editing these photos, two songs kept running through my mind…”I hope you dance” and “In my Daughter’s eyes”. I know I’m really in love with a session when the photos merge with music in my head. I hope you enjoy this session as much as I did.
