Shelly is one of my oldest and dearest friends.  We went to college together at TTU way back in the day and share many fond memories, including ringing in the New Millennium together (yeah, that happened when I was in college.  We are that old.  Shut up.)  We both ended up moving to Spring Hill at various points.  I was so excited to recently learn that she and her husband Nate are expecting their second baby in September and very honored when she asked me to shoot their family photos for this spring, with a few maternity shots included.  

Their first born, Spencer, and I had SO much fun on this photo shoot.  Can I just say that I LOVE three year olds?  Nothing beats their vivid imaginations and their pure excitement about the littlest things.  He was a little shy at first, but once he learned that we were going on an adventure to my secret kingdom in the woods, he was all in and ready for some fun.  He even helped protect me from the bears that were hiding in the woods (Shhhh...don't be loud or they will hear you) and we fought some dragons along the way.

Hunting Bears and Slaying DragonsYou have to be quiet in the woods so the bears don't hear you coming. Spencer was quite the chivalrous knight and protected me along the path.
King of the World!Three year olds are SO much fun. I love playing with them and getting them to let go and have fun during a photo session.
