Rest in Peace, Lt. Barry Richardson | Nashville TN PhotographerIt was my honor to be asked to capture the memorial of Lt. Barry Richardson this weekend. Barry was the father of my high school best friend and was always good to me when I was a teenager. He was also a hero and a mentor to so many firefighters on the Johnson City Fire Department, including my little brother. He was the type of guy who everyone enjoyed being around, and that everyone looked up to. He was the true definition of hero. The service was one of the most beautiful things I have ever witnessed. I pray that I have done it justice. The Firefighter's Prayer When I'm called to duty god Help me to embrace a little child Enable me to be alert I want to fill my calling and And if according to your will
