Family Gathers Here - Multi-Generational Portrait Session | Spring Hill Family PhotographerFamily Gathers Here When Kayla contacted me about Fall Family Portraits, she indicated that she wanted to include both her parents, and her husbands parents in the portrait session. She wanted to give the photos as a gift to the grandparents for Christmas, and it was important to her personally to capture these moments of the children with their grandparents. It was a gorgeous afternoon and FINALLY not too hot as we gathered at Thompson Station Park. There is still plenty of color on the trees, and the park, for once, wasn't super busy. I had so much fun getting to know this family. I love seeing and documenting how families interact with each other. I also love the color scheme that Kayla chose for the portraits. I am sometimes asked what colors I think work well for a session, and Burgandy is one of my top choices...it goes so well with most backgrounds, whether it's green grass and trees, or the beautiful color of Fall. Navy or dark blue is also one of my favorite choices. I hope that I was able to capture the love between this family, and that they will cherish them always. I know I would give anything to have had a portrait session for my children with all four of their grandparents.

Looking at these pictures of people I love so much makes me realize how precious having family memories taken while you can. This day will never be forgotten because it was captured on film. They touched my heart and soul. God gave me a beautiful family and I thank him everyday for their love.
