The Gift of Photography

For this family session, I was actually contacted by the Grandmother, who wanted to purchase a family portrait session as a Christmas gift for her son and daughter-in-law.  What an absolutely wonderful gift idea....nothing is more priceless than family portraits. Five year old Devon and I had a fun time at this session. Fall is beginning to end and the terrain is starting to look more winterish, but I don't mind.  I know that many of my clients are very preferential to fall photos, but I think there is beauty in every season. It started to rain on us a little towards the end of this session, but I'm kind of glad.  I pulled out my clear umbrellas from my car, and then Devon put on his coat and the cutest hat that "Mi Mi" had sent him.  His coat and hat, along with the umbrella was just so stinking adorable.  

It stopped raining after a few minutes, which was great for Devon because he had been asking to go to the playground at the end of our session.  I was glad that we got to go to the playground too because then I got to capture his amazing Ninja Warrior moves. 💕
