Haley's Fairytale Portrait Session - Middle Tennessee Family PhotographerI've been photographing Haley & her family for years. They are some of my oldest and most loyal clients whom I appreciate so much. Whitney is always so quick to recommend me to friends & family or on social media. Since much of my business comes from client recommendations, her support (and the support of many others like her) has been instrumental in growing my business over the last year and a half. Whitney wanted a woodsy location for this session, so we ended up choosing a location that I had not shot at before - Edwin Warner Park in Nashville. I absolutely love this location, and will definitely be using it again. It is very shaded which was a lifesaver for this session. We had scheduled the session right before sundown (magic hour), which is when I prefer to schedule all of my sessions. But the forecast for the day included evening thunder storms, so on the morning of the session, we decided to move it up to earlier in the day to avoid the rain. Normally, I would not prefer to shoot at 2 p.m. because of the harsh mid-day sun, but at this woodsy location, it worked out beautifully. We started out with casual family portraits. I love Haley's bright orange dress against the green forest. Then we moved on to the really fun portion of the session...Haley's Cinderella Fairytale session. She killed it in this dress...I especially love her twirls and the epic running in her ball gown like the clock was about to strike midnight. And in case your curious where the beautiful Cinderella inspired dress came from, it's the "Her Baby Blues" frock by Dollcake.
