I so love getting to meet sweet tiny babies in their first weeks of life and photographing them with their new parents, who are so full of a love that they could not have even imagined before baby. Although definitely some of the hardest times (and sleepiest), there is something magical about those first few weeks of life as a new family.

I love including little details about the family's life and home in the images. The crib set or quilt made lovingly by grandma, and the carefully planned nursery lovingly decorated before baby's arrival are all a part of her story. But my favorite images are always of the baby in the arms of mom or dad. I just love those so much more than images of babies posed in bean bags.
