I've been photographing Haley since she was itty bitty, so it was an honor when Christy asked me if I would capture these special memories for Haley's First Communion.  I couldn't help getting a little teary eyed (which does sometimes happen with clients I know so well, and sometimes even when I don't) when i was editing these because looking at her in this sweet white dress and veil, it's not hard to imagine that her wedding day will be here before you know it. 

When we met at the church, it was about to storm, so I rushed Haley outside to get a few outdoor photos before the rain came.  As you can see, it was quite windy already and we only had a few moments before it started to rain and we had to rush inside to save the dress and the camera, but I'm so glad we got a few outside because I love the wind in her hair and the beautiful bokeh in the trees. 

The church is just gorgeous and Haley was the perfect model.  How freaking lucky am I to have a job that allowed me to celebrate two such amazing moments in the lives of families in one weekend. (In case you missed my earlier post, I also photographed a Bar Mitzvah celebration this weekend.)
