Love, Happiness, Grand-babies & FamilyWhen you book a session with me, I ask that you fill out a little survey with a few questions that will help me plan for your session and to know what your priorities are for the photo shoot. When asked what she wanted to remember about right now, Sherri answered "love, happiness, grand-babies & family." I hope I've captured that for her. She also indicated that she preferred candid photos, which you know makes my heart sing as that is my favorite as well. Of course, with such a large group, some photos have to be posed to a certain extent just to get everyone in the frame, so we started the session with some more posed options. But then my favorite part of the session was when we went to the playground. The family just played and hung out as normal, and I was able to roam around getting shots of whatever was happening at the time. One reason this is one of my favorite spots to photograph families is the way that the sun sets behind the playground. It makes for a gorgeous backdrop as the kids play and have a good time.
