Just a little over a year ago, this mom contacted me wanting to schedule family pictures.  She had seen photos I had taken of one of my best friends and asked her for my contact information.  She said some really nice things about the pictures I had taken of our mutual friend.  But unfortunately, I had to turn her away.  At the time, I was working full time and all of my free weekends in the Fall were taken up shooting the families of close friends.  I loved it, but just didn't have the time to shoot for people I didn't know.  

It was inquiries like hers that gave me the courage to quit my job in January and pursue photography full time.  I could not be happier that I did.  I have been insanely, wonderfully busy since September.  And I'm doing what I love and working for myself - which gives me the flexibility to help at my girls' school and be home with them when I need to be.  I am truly thankful for all those who have supported me this past year. 

So, when Heidi contacted me this Fall about family photos, I was happy to be able to work her in....and I'm so glad I did.  These boys were so awesome.  They cooperated so well, and even 3 year old Talon was easy to work with.  And his big brothers Braydon (9) and Keaton (6) were great with the camera, and with helping to take care of their little brother.  And such a handsome family!  They made my job easy!
