I was super excited to take our family photos at the beach this year, and my new tripod and wireless remote worked great.  The beach here is SOOO beautiful.  We are at Santa Rosa Beach, near Grayton Beach, Florida.  We got up at dawn to go take pictures.  Since I was using a tripod, I wanted as few people on the beach as possible and I new the early morning light would be perfect.  

Megan wasn't too into having her picture made this morning, but Kayla enjoyed the chance to dance in the waves.  She ended up soaking wet but she had a great time doing it.  I'm hoping to maybe get a few of Megan later in the week when she's in a better mood.  I also forgot to get any of just me and Bruce.  Oh well.  All things considering, I'm pretty happy with the results - it's so much harder to take pictures of my own family than of another family.  I couldn't have asked for a more gorgeous backdrop though.  

I'm so in love with the pictures of Kayla dancing in the waves.  We even had a flock of sea gulls fly by that you can see in one of the pictures below.
