Baby Maebyn's One Year Session | Spring Hill, TN Baby Photographer

August 24, 2015  •  12 Comments

One of the best parts of my job is meeting new people.  Especially adorable, sweet little one year olds, like the little girl I got to photograph last night at her one year old portrait session.  I miss my girls being that little.  Not enough to go back to that...I do not miss the diapers, the late nights or the not being able to pee alone.  (Sometimes that last one is still an issue.)  I love seeing the beautiful young women my girls are becoming.  But babies are fun.  It's definitely a perk of my job to get to hang out with them, and then to go home and go to sleep.

Little Maebyn is an absolute doll.  We were fast friends and I even got a hug. We had a great time playing at Henry Horton Park.  She loves her babies so we were sure to include some of those in the pictures.  They reminded me of the blah blah dolls that Kayla loved when she was a baby.  It's important to capture those little details, because in the blink of an eye that stage has passed.

Maebyn's grandfather made the rocking horse and fairy wings.  Her adorable red converse reminded me of the Senior Portrait Session I shot at Henry Horton a few weeks ago.  And her mother made her beautiful purple dress.

Remember to leave a comment on the blog post to help Maebyn's mom and dad earn a free print.

An audible gasp at seeing the first photo, then smiles and then laughing out loud as I checked out the rest of the photos. Too many favs to pick just one, but I have to say I do like the pensive pose of Lady Mae when she was by the fence. So much artistic talent in her family and the photographer as well.

Great pictures - I'm sure glad that I don't have the difficult job of deciding which are my favorites!
