The Colors of Autumn

This family has not had professional family portraits made since this kids were very little.  I am so glad that they decided to entrust me with capturing their memories with a Fall Family Portrait Session this year.  As I’ve said before, I think it’s just as important to capture photographs of those in between years, as it is to photograph our babies. 

For the first time all season, it was a chilly day for this session, but not so cold that we were terribly uncomfortable.  I was afraid that all the color would be gone by now, but we actually had some beautiful fall leaves as a backdrop. The sun was gorgeous and I found myself again obsessed with chasing the light.  

We had fun playing in the leaves and running down the beautiful wooded path.  Aubrey and Jack were very easy to work with and I enjoyed seeing them interact with each other.  I asked Jack to tell us some jokes and he may have a future as a comedian.  I could take photographs of sweet Aubry and that gorgeous red hair all day long.  I hope they choose to have family photos again soon.
