I haven't photographed many Senior Portrait Sessions, as most of my clients have younger children.  But this session with Grace was so much fun that it made me want to do more of these in the future.  She is just an absolute natural in front of the camera, and was just so much fun to be around. 

Grace chose Downtown Franklin for her photo session, which I absolutely love. I don't use it often for sessions because it's a poor choice for younger kids, who should be able to run around and explore without worrying about streets and traffic. But for Seniors (or families with older children), it's a great location.  There are so many interesting buildings and walls.  It's so much fun to play around with leading lines and framing, window reflections, and of course, chasing the light.  It's nice for a change to be able to focus on composition without fear that my client will be running away in half a second...though I wouldn't trade my toddler shoots for anything. 

I'm calling this my last official session of the busy season. I SURVIVED!  I still have more sessions this year, but nothing quite as crazy as the last 2 - 3 months have been.  I've learned a lot, and am also working on speeding up my editing workflow, so hopefully I will be able to take on a few more clients next Fall.  I'm now booking January - June of next year if you still need a portrait session for your family.  It's easier than ever to Book a session now to capture your own family's beautiful moments.  You can view open session dates on my online calendar and choose what works with you with a few clicks.
