It was a dreary, drizzly and cold day and we almost cancelled this session because of the rain, but I'm glad that we didn't because it turned out just perfect. I can't believe I made it all the way through the busy season without having to reschedule for weather, but I somehow did.  When Rachel contacted me about shooting her family portraits, she said that she really needed to get them done in the Fall because she is a CPA and starting in January, she will be slammed with tax work.  I totally get that, though as soon as she is ramping up her busy season, I'll be slowing down and hopefully will have some time to focus on taking more classes, developing business goals for the year and trying to grow my art.  It's been a crazy, busy, beautiful year and I am so thankful for all by amazing clients and friends who have supported me this year.  I am so blessed to be doing something that I love for clients that I love.  

Now that my holiday rush is finished, I cannot wait to see your Christmas Cards!  Don't feel like you have to mail me one, but if I shot your family's holiday card this year, I would love to see a photo of it posted on my page.  I love Christmas Cards!

And what a great way to finish off the season...this family is just adorable.  They were so wonderful braving the chilly weather and a tiny bit of rain. I just loved meeting them and getting to know them.  I'm so glad the rain held off for the most part.
