I just love photographing mothers with their newborn babies.  There is just nothing more beautiful than a mother's love for her child. 

The type of photography that I do is considered lifestyle newborn photography, which is somewhat different than a prop/posed shoot.

Lifestyle photography means that I want to capture real life, candid moments in a more artistic way....and blend of documentary photography and more formal portraiture. So for me, it is important that the backdrop of your babies portraits be real and true to your family.

If your baby has a nursery, I want to capture it in the photographs. If there are blankets or toys that are important to your family, I want to include them as well. I believe the most beautiful photographs of newborns have them posed in their mother or father's arms....not propped in a basket or hanging from a tree.

 I do not carry around lots of baskets and blankets and there will be no babies hanging from trees. I want to photography the precious new baby in his/her own environment.  Often times, my favorite shots of baby are in the arms of mommy or daddy.
