I love shooting maternity portraits in a clients home. There is something so special about being in a home that's being prepared for a new baby.  There is so much anticipation in the air and you can just feel the love the parents already have for their unborn child.  The high chair is seated at the family table, waiting for the new family member.  Little details through out the house are showing preparations for the new arrival, from diaper changing supplies, to baby rockers, everything is so lovingly prepared.  

I love to capture maternity photos in the baby's nursery as well...so many tiny details that are carefully planned by the nesting mama.  Anthony teased Tina about the number of baby clothes that were ready for little Mia, but it just shows how excited this mama is to meet her long awaited for little girl.  A memory bear is ready as a momento for baby Mia of grandparents who look down on her from heaven.  A recliner is ready to be used for years of rocking and feeding her and singing her lullabyes.  These are details that Mia will cherish when she looks back at these photos years from now.  

And Tina is just such a stunning mama-to-be!  It was so much fun to photograph this sweet couple.  One part of my job that I absolutely love is meeting new people and getting to know them.  It turns out that I actually use to work with Anthony at GM, but I didn't ever meet him as he worked in a different building as i did.
