When I found out that this family got a new puppy for Christmas, just before our session, I had to beg them to bring her to the shoot.  Oh my goodness...so much cuteness!!!  I somehow have to work it out to have a puppy at every photo shoot. That little black ball of fur was so sweet and adorable and was definitely loved by all the kids, and especially her new owner, Hadley.

Shannon has been a friend of mine for years, and I've known Hadley and Landon since they were little but have never done a photo session with them before.  Shannon's brother and his kids were coming into town for Christmas, so she wanted to plan an extended family session as a surprise for their mother for Christmas.  It was so fun to see the kids interacting with each other and enjoying their time together.  And it was such a beautiful December day for a session - not too cold at all.  And I'm so glad that the timing of the session worked out to include Hadley with her new puppy.  I hope that she will always cherish the photos of her early days with sweet Phoebe.
