Webb Family Maternity Session | Nashville Family PhotographerThis gorgeous mother contacted me months ago about a bundle for her maternity, birth and newborn photo sessions, but we were just now able to fit in her maternity session with only three weeks left before her precious baby girl is due to arrive. I was afraid we had waited too long and mama would be too uncomfortable for a proper photo shoot, but I couldn't have been more wrong. She is absolutely stunning...at 37 weeks pregnant. We have known all along that I may not be able to capture her birth story because of some scheduling conflicts, so if you could say a little prayer that baby girl will wait until I am available, that would be wonderful. I'll be so disappointed if I miss her arrival. But either way, stay tuned for newborn photos. I cannot wait to see these three older siblings fall in love with their new baby. It was gutsy of us to schedule a Thompson Station Park photo shoot in the middle of June in the south, but the weather was better than could be hoped for this time of year and we did not melt. I love ending a session at the playground. It's a great treat for kids and often, those end of being my favorite shots. Two year old Joey was pretty hesitant about having his picture taken at first, but he opened up once I suggested he race his big sisters down a path. Just the other day, I had a woman tell me that she had put off family pictures for so long because her toddler just wouldn't stand still. Who said that was a requirement? It is true that it is harder to get a nice posed, everyone smiling at the camera family photo when you have toddlers (but it can be done). But toddlers are the BEST at joyful, real, carefree shots, which are really the best ones anyway. I so love to capture that curiosity about life around them and their emerging personalities.
