I cannot believe this sweet girl is seven years old already.  She is the daughter of one of my dearest friends, who moved to Georgia a little over a year ago.  We were able to come to Georgia to celebrate her 7th birthday at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia.  Although she's not my child, Ada has a bit of Photographer's Kid Syndrome because she's grown up being around me a lot, so sometimes she isn't interested in being in pictures. I am so glad that today she decided to indulge me in a little mini-session while her mom set up for her party at the botanical gardens. Isn't she just beautiful?

I think my favorite part was coming upon a mister that was watering the flowers as we were exploring.  It made for such a magical backdrop for a lovely fairy.  And the color streaks that Ada recently put in her hair looked magical as well.  Though I'm not a prop person, I may need to invest a flower crown or two. 

The State Botanical Garden was a wonderful place for a party (and for pictures).  I'm a little jealous that I don't have such a beautiful location close to Spring Hill.
