Camila's One Year Old Spring Portrait Session | Spring Hill, TN Baby PhotographerSweet Baby Camila is one of my repeat customers. In fact, I've photographed her several times since I captured her birth story a year ago. I was able to photograph her first moments at home with a lifestyle newborn session. Then, when she was three months old, her mother asked me to do a session that included all the important grown ups in her life, including all her God Parents. In the fall, when she was six months old, I shot a family portrait session at Thompson Station Park. It's been such a joy to capture these moments of Camila's first year of life. I can't wait to capture more moments of hers in the future. It was a gorgeous spring evening for Camila's One Year Portrait session, though it was a bit chilly. The weather had been gloomy earlier in the day, but the sun came out just for Camila. We had gorgeous magic hour light peeking through the trees from the end of our path. The dogwoods and cherry blossoms were in full bloom. Even the little purple weeds made a beautiful backdrop for her photographs. Big brothers Alex and Kaden played cheerfully in the breeze while I photographed Camila. Like many (most) babies her age, Camila didn't want to be far from her mom and dad. At the beginning of the session, we were able to distract her with some dandelions and she sat contentedly on the blanket for me. Later, when we went to a different scene, she refused to be without one of her parents. This was perfectly fine, as we were able to shoot images with her happily in her parents arms. Often, these turn out to be my favorite images. Do you wish you had more photographs of your baby's first year? What kind of moments do you have coming up in the future that you'd love to have photographed? I would love to hear your comments below.
