Nicole plans the most AMAZING kid's birthday parties, so I was so excited that she asked me to shoot sweet Scarlett's birthday party again this year.  You may remember Scarlett's gorgeous Fairy garden Birthday Party from last year. I didn't think it was possible for Nicole to out do herself on that party, but this year she somehow managed to do just that with Scarlett's Strawberry Shortcake themed birthday party.

First of all, how awesome is a Strawberry Shortcake themed birthday party to begin with?  I LOVED Strawberry Shortcake when I was a little girl. I want Nicole to throw me a birthday party! Nicole said that when Scarlett first requested the theme, she didn't realize that there wasn't very much Strawberry Shortcake themed birthday supplies out there since it's such an old cartoon. But that didn't seem to stop Nicole from throwing a BEAUTIFUL party.  I think my favorite part was the stunning centerpieces on the adult tables made with real strawberries.

Oh my goodness...the FOOD!!! Gorgeous and delicious food!  The cake was absolutely stunning, as was the gorgeous pie. The strawberry cake pops were of course, a huge hit with the kids. 

And what is a Strawberry Shortcake party without Strawberry Shortcake?  Nicole hired Strawberry Shortcake from Copy Cats Nashville Kid's Parties, and she did an amazing job with the children.  Each child was able to get his or her face painted, and there were Strawberry shortcake temporary tattoos.  She also played lots of fun games with the kids so the adults could relax and socialize.  Can you imagine a more beautiful party than this?  It is absolutely a little girl's dream come true.

For those who want to know a little more detail about where and how Nicole pulled off this amazing party:

The strawberry shaped cups and lollipops came from the Oriental Trading Company. The green porcelain plates for the table setting came from the Dollar Store. The cake, cake pops and cupcakes were all made by Cindy Walker. The berry baskets and pink tule table skirt were purchased from Etsy. Nicole made all of the strawberry and flower shaped sugar cookies using cookie cutters she purchased on amazon. She made all of the strawberry favor boxes using a free template she found on the internet and textured card stock she purchased from Michael's. She made the strawberry napkin holders and the strawberries for each chair sash using her Cricut Explore. She made the hanging strawberries using this online tutorial from The House that Lars Built. She made the miniature cakes for the kids table from a template she purchased from the Etsy vendor Paperglitter. Nicole's mother in-law (Debbie) and Mom (Sheryl) prepared all of the food.
